The World Cup in Dendermonde was new on the calendar in 2020, but not really. Jurgen Mettepenningen, who is also the team manager of Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal, organised the Ambiancecross twice at the Puyenbroeck provincial domain in Wachtebeke. Some years ago he tried - with success - to win a place in the renewed World Cup and chose to move to Dendermonde, more specifically to the district of Grembergen.
